The G7 Ottawa Grassroots Ethno-Cultural Groups Collective
These seven organizations are united by a common goal: fostering social justice, equity, and empowerment for the most marginalized members of our society.
ANYO
Supports immigrant children and youth through sports and social programs to help them integrate into Canadian society.
TD
Focuses on advocating for the positive engagement of youth, children, and families, particularly addressing gun and gang violence in Ottawa.
Daryeel
Offers employment and educational support, primarily for Somali and Sudanese youth, helping them integrate into their new lives in Canada.
CWCLN
Aims to empower Black and racialized women, trans, and non-binary femmes through wellness, leadership development, and economic empowerment programs.
YAO
A youth-led initiative that focuses on empowering racialized youth to share their stories related to mental health and anti-racism.
JACO
Engages Black and racialized youth through art and music, fostering community pride and mentoring young people in leadership skills
